The potato pancakes were absolutely horrible. Way overcooked and zero flavor. Of our party of 5, only one dish was worth the price.
Was there last February for dinner. Food was good but the service is too slow. Tried it again today. Waited 30 minutes for a table. Seated finally, then after 10 more m8nutes of not even a drink order we left. 2 bad experiences in a row is enough. Will never go back,
This is a laid back experience. If you're in a hurry, you won't enjoy it. The food and atmosphere is great. Don't make any other plans, just come for a good evening of food and beer in a seemingly German experience.
And the waiter was probably the worst I've ever had anywhere. I've been a server before. We all have bad days. But this guy needed to just go home.
Normally my experience here is really positive. But when I went on my birthday my disappointment was worth noting.
If I️ could possibly give no stars, I would. Worst service ever. Called ahead for reservation and when we got there it wasn’t ready, and we waited half an hour to finally be seated. Then when we got seated, there wasn’t enough seats so some of my family members, including myself, had to sit separate from everyone else. When we got seated, we didn’t get served for at least 20 minutes for our drinks without straws , and then another 25 minutes until we ordered our food. The food took at least an hour as she didn’t refill our drinks or even give us a beer list, and all of the orders were either wrong or not made. My food personally was absolutely gross. And also, the table next to me was never bussed the whole entire time I️ was seated, being left with old food on the table. Completely disappointed for driving over an hour for this place only to find disappointment. Total time here was almost 4 hours.
Old deutch culture lives in this amazing restaurant. The dishes are all traditionally German and the servers are professional top of the line. Best service ever. No higher praise!
